Meet the band The Tightsmen: Miku Ohno (Chiaki Kuriyama), Masao Kigawa (Takuya Ishida), Shun Masamiya (Hiro Mizushima) and Kenta Kashiwabara (Yosuke Asari). GS Wonderland pays homage to the Group Sounds (G.S.) craze (wiki) in what looks to be a psychedelic nostalgic trip back to the 60’s fused with period details, great music, laughs and melodrama… lets just hope it doesn’t try to be too over reaching of a crowd pleaser.
GS Wonderland can be seen at the upcoming Nippon Connection 2009 (www.nipponconnection.de) in Frankfurt, Germany. Their dates this year are April 15-19 (see previous post).
