Last years Midnight Madness Blog for the Toronto International Film Festival was dare I say the best film festival blog I’ve ever seen ran or put together. They provided video clips of Q&A’s and introductions for films, as well as montage clips giving you an overview of their program and even went so far as having compilation video of of Colin Geddes its head programmer, as he traveled around the world attending film festivals. In addition to that they offered insight on the films they were showing and the talent behind them in several engaging ways and offered up analysis. They also had a lot of older footage from past festivals that pulled up to use on the blog. I can’t imagine what this new 2008 blog will have, but you can bet that once again they will be pulling out all the stops and raising the bar for what a film festival blog can be:
