More amazing Japanese poster artwork for Takashi Miike’s Crows Zero (Kurôzu zero). Surprisingly enough in the past 7 days this film has been the most popular title among site readers. In addition and I haven’t said this enough here if your a big fan of Miike then definitely check out the Tom Mes book on Miike - Agitator: The Cinema of Takashi Miike.

1982 certainly seems like a good while ago now doesn’t it? Amazing at how well this film still holds up today, though of course not every passage of youth features Jennifer Jason Leigh or Phoebe Cates.

The big news today is coming from Tokyograph (read here) who inform us that Takashi Miike’s Crows Zero will be getting a sequel. Apparently this will tie everything up with a nice resounding ending. Expect it to come out sometime in 2009.
