This haunting and introspective Michelangelo Antonioni film seemed as good as places as any to start exploring other types of cinema artwork for restoring. In this case a rare Japanese advertisement of the film. I’ve rarely often posted any types of ads here but glad to expand out the variety and these are often precisely the types of things overlooked and never preserved.

SURPRISE #3

Another Richard Rush film that came out in 1968 along with Psych-Out was The Savage Seven. I have to say I’ve been curious as to what other films it would have been double billed with at drive-ins back in the 70’s. I have this at least partially answered in this November 1974 calendar from the Twilight Drive-In Theatre in Jamestown, Tennessee. In it we see it was double billed with Mark of the Devil. The overall lineup shown for this month is interesting with titles ranging from Prime Cut early in the month to adult titles getting played on Sunday nights!
