Fresh on the heals of the news IFC Films has snatched up US distribution rights (read here), here are three more images to wet your appetite for Flame & Citron (Flammen & Citronen) and I must say, these three certainly sell the film. The artwork with Mads Mikkelsen and Thure Lindhardt looks particularly strong. The battle scene with Thure Lindhardt looks very compelling and the still of Stine Stengade makes her look as lovely as I’ve ever seen her!

This film will be screening at the 35th Telluride Film Festival and at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Ole Christian Madsen fresh off the heals of Prague, returns this year with the WWII thriller Flame & Citron (Flammen & Citronen). This is certainly one of the films I’m most looking forward to this year and still unsure exactly where I will be seeing it first.

I’ve yet to see a bad Ole Christian Madsen film. And I’ve yet to see a movie with Mads Mikkelsen (at the end of the table in this still) in it that is bad. Their teaming up for the WWII thriller Flame & Citron makes it easily one of my most anticipated films of 2008. Their previous collaboration Prague, was a highlight of mine for 2007.

I think this is perhaps the first still I’ve posted from any 2008 films so far. Amazing to think 2007 is nearly over and with 2008 ushering in that this decade is about to be a distant memory as well. 2010 and beyond here we come!
