I like this reworking of the US poster for the most part… not so much the colors but the collage of deeply irreverent faces with some wink wink imagery in small spots.

I have to wonder if everyone is taking the new Coen Brothers Burn After Reading too seriously!?! Over at GreenCine Daily (read here) there is a very engrossing and expansive post covering critical reaction to the film from the 65th Venice International Film Festival. It would seem like if Raising Arizona had a cousin that was a spy film, then Burn After Reading would be that film.

If you ever wondered what Coen Brothers dialogue sounded like in German, you should watch the two trailers for this film at its German site (watch here). Burn After Reading was just today to the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival lineup.

Synopsis:

A dark-spy comedy from Academy Award winners Joel and Ethan Coen. An ousted CIA official’s (Academy Award nominee John Malkovich) memoir accidentally falls into the hands of two unwise gym employees intent on exploiting their find.
