Note Martin Scorsese’s latest film Shutter Island opens this Friday (official site)!

Over at the Harry Ransom Center in Austin you will find the image from this still on display in their Making Movies (more info) exhibit. Great to see that someone else has this great still also in their collection and are proudly displaying it in their exhibit. Their exhibit is highly recommended and runs through August 1st. Makes me think of one day taking everything from my collection and doing an exhibit.

Immersive and epic come to mind almost immediately when thinking of this film, which also happens to be the last from Sergio Leone. Doesn’t always get mentioned in the same breath as his earlier work but still a tower achievement of cinema that continues to stand the test of time like all the great films do.
