On the left Gordon Liu stands before his kung fu master played by Simon Yuen (Yuen Woo-ping’s and Cheung-Yan Yuen’s father). On the right we have Gordon Liu squaring off against his bride to be Yûko Mizuno as he attempts to show her the values of Chinese Martial Arts. The incredible action packed showcase of Chinese and Japanese martial arts makes “Heroes of the East” aka “Zhong hua zhang fu” aka “Drunk Shaolin Challenges Ninja” one of my favorite Shaw Brothers and Lau Kar Leung directed movies.
