New Cinema Wallpaper of the Day

The first part of this Che epic is challenging, stirred very pragmatically and crackling with underlying tension. We know loosely where we are going but not sure how the movie will necessarily get us there in its highly realistic driven prose that blurs the film as if it were a breathing document of real past events in the life of Che and Cuba. Benicio Del Toro of course puts in the performance of his career to date as Che.

New Cinema Wallpaper of the Day

Che (262 minute version) bows at the Toronto International Film Festival (film listing) on Monday for the press and industry followed by a public screening on Friday the 12th. Magnolia Pictures seems slated to pick this two part film series up and give it their first big Oscar push.
