Sydney Tamiia Poitier is Jungle Julia in Quentin Tarantino’s, Death Proof. I happen to think this is one of my all-time favorite movie images. Say what you will about this often purposely over gabby and over indulgent film, it still leaves some magnificent moments and one seriously amazing car chase.

Good lord! Another rocking pre-Fantastic Fest screening is about to go down. This time it’s a 35mm sneak-preview screening of the extended director’s cut of “Death Proof.” If you haven’t already be sure and check out the elaborate Russian site for the movie (here). And yes there is absolutely zero foot fetish in effect in the above image. None what-so-ever-at-all-move-along-folks.
