Can’t wait to see this anthology film with Tadanobu Asano even directing a segement. Jason Gray (read here) mentions: “Asano is an alien named 246 that needs his drum kit or he’ll die” in R246 Story.

The buzz seems to be fairly positive on this film from Shochiku. Yoji Yamada has apparently crafted a well made tear-jerker that should get a good life on the festival circuit.

Everyone seems to be divided over this Sogo Ishii entry with the experimentation of style in the film seeming to throw off most. What the film lacks in story, it certainly attempts to make up for in visual energy.

Although this is a cool poster, I do feel the need to cater to the Tadanobu Asano fans of the world as often as possible.
