Viz Pictures will be screening this film in the US in October (more info).

This sequel to the great cat and mouse thriller Death Note, was too uneven for my tastes (too much story and too little time to cram it all in nice and near seamlessly meshed), though I definitely dig that last act of the film where a great battle of wits ensue.

It’s literally a chess match between Light Yagami (Tatsuya Fujiwara) L (Ken’ichi Matsuyama) in this conclusion to the Death Note series.

Now raise your hand if you dressed like either Light or L for Halloween this year. Raise both hands if you dress like either everyday. Raise both hands and one leg if you do all the above and dress like either to bed. Raise both hands and both legs if you dress like either with all the above and when you shower.
