This is one of those films I’m in eternal debt to Weird Wednesday at the Alamo Drafthouse. All praise to Lars for screening this eclectic and resonating rare film.

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’sTHE LOVE CAGE” stars Jane Fonda, Alain Delon and Lola Albright in the suspenseful drama of a young professional chardsharp who is pursued by American gangsters and escapes to the French Rivera. When he becomes the chauffeur of a rich widow and her beautiful young cousin, he finds himself involved in a web of mystery and intrigue. The Cipra Production was produced by Jacques Bar and directed by Rene Clement.
