Rock Hudson – Personal Apperance – Boston

Dear Ted:

This will confirm that Rock Hudson will visit Boston on Thursday, April 1st, arriving at Logan Airport at 11:17 a.m., via American Airlines Flight 330, from New York.

During his stay in Boston he will be at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, telephone number is KE 6-5700, area code 617. We have provided as instructed, a double bedroom suite for Mr. Hudson and his unit publicist, Mr. Glen Shahan.

There will be a Press Luncheon with approximately seventeen people in attendance including twelve working press and the other five consist of Mr. Hudson, Mr. Shahan, Fasick, Titleman and Alan Friedberg of the Sack Theatre where the picture will be playing.

The room will be stocked with the requested bottles of gin, scotch and bourbon along with the necessary glasses, ice, etc.

We anticipate scheduling from 2:00 o’clock until 5:00, radio and television, in the suite. I have no plans at this moment to take Mr. Hudson to any of the studios since none have the requested network outlets here in Boston.

The Hudson party will depart from Boston on Friday morning on April 2nd at 8:00 a.m. aboard American Flight 381 for Toronto, arriving there at 10:39 a.m.

Regards,

Karl Fasick
