Yves Montmayeur & Paco Plaza

Documentary filmmaker Yves Montmayeur (his wife on the left) and [Rec] director Paco Plaza at the 40th Sitges Film Festival. This is one of the favorite pictures I took during the fest. I will be adding a larger version of this in a recap and gallery for the fest for Twitch.
Mr. Montmayeur of course did the recent documentaries The Angry Young Men of Korean Cinema and In the Mood for Doyle. I’ve only seen the Korean one though without English subtitles but even so thought it was absolutely mesmerizing. Mr. Plaza co-directed the recent solid and entralling zombie horror film [REC] from Spain (and big winner at Sitges this year).
