Virginie Ledoyen is Lucy in Koldo Serra’s The Backwoods (Bosque de sombras). Mark this down as another film from the rising wave of great new cinema coming out of Spain. I think Ledoyen’s performance is terrific as the quietly neurotic housewife who seems completely lost in her marriage and life.
