i saw this great film when I was a teenager in the Air Force! In my youthful eyes and mind i loved the action and the cool character, albeit a menacing presence, played by Lee Marvin. I knew then that he was a great actor. Point Blank and Cat Ballou. What great range he had as an actor. After 40 years when i think of Point Blank, and when I read post-reviews, I realize the depth that probably went over my head in the late 60's. "Was Walker dead?" "Was he the personification of the guilty conscience of his victims?" I just liked the cinematic experience of seeing the action and the beautiful women in the film. That sufficed well for me then. I want to see the film again...this time study it with the more life-experienced consortium of my 60-year old heart and mind. I will probably enjoy it just as well after that 4 decades long hiatus. Lee Marvin still rules!!
